Your card is authorized when you press send and charged only once the receiving fax system acknowledges the pages. If we cannot complete the transmission after retrying, the authorization is released and no charge is ever made. You will not be waiting on money to come back, because it never left.

The charge appears on a statement as FAXMYDOC FAX SEND.

A document over 20 pages needs to be sent as two transmissions, at $4.99 each. We would rather tell you that than invent an overage schedule that makes the first number a half-truth.

It is deleted automatically 24 hours after the transmission completes. The transmission record survives, and it contains no document content. The retention policy sets out exactly what is kept and for how long.
